I've got many memories of Tony, as we went head-to-head in wrestling for many years. He was the one of the toughest people I've ever met. Once he was 18 pounds over weight the night before a wrestling match, so he ran home to Bayshore in a rubber suit. Then ran in the gym all day the next day and made weight for the match! It wasn't like he had a lot of extra fat to lose!

At an away match, upon exiting the gym after pummeling Bellport, I saw a gang of guys running away from our bus. When I got on the bus I asked what happened. Apparently they didn't like losing to us, so were yelling and throwing stuff at the bus. Tony ran out into the crowd by himself and kicked the crap out of the biggest dude in the group, at which point they all headed for the hills!

The guy was incredibly talented (check out the yearbook for most artistic). Unfortunately, he didn't have the best role models and made some bad choices.
